On August 30, our daughter-in-law‘s oldest brother, Jody, was involved in a very serious motorcycle wreck. He was transported by helicopter to Greenville Memorial Hospital. During the week and eight hour surgery was performed to stabilize his spine, broken in multiple places. The medical team expressed amazement that he had even survived the wreck. Their diagnosis was that he would be a quadriplegic from the neck down. However, it is evident that God has a different plan for him. He is conscious, verbal, and can move his arms. The medical team projects that he will have many months in the hospital and rehab. Jody‘s birthday is today, September 6. He is 50 years old today. Jody is not a professor (Christian). But it is quite evident too much of the family that God has allowed him continued life for purpose and purposes. Please pray for Jody, his wife, Michelle, and their teenage son. We obviously are praying for his healing as the medical team projects that he has a one percent chance of ever walking again. Our prayer request is that during this Rehab time, Jody will avail himself of the opportunity to become a believer and follower in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our obvious request for his physical healing is also in place. God‘s grace and mercy are obviously manifest in this situation. If it is, God‘s will, Jody will not only be able to walk, but will be a artist, Believer, proclaimer, and example of one who has come to Christ. Thank you for praying for him, his family, and God‘s wonderful will for his life.

I made a change because I had to. I hope not to get into trouble for it. Hope it turns out. As if I didn’t make that change something worse would have happened. Hope to have enough food and supplies for the next five or so days. Some things might ger harder in the next few days, help me get through it, as I won’t have the energy to deal with it, as must deal with lack of sleep.

Janet’s health condition has deteriorated. She is the elderly lady with stage 4 liver cancer who is in the hospital. Her blood tests are not good. Her platelets are down to 12, and her kidneys are not functioning well. Her body is full of fluid, and they can’t even remove it properly. The fluid is coming out through her hand, and she is very swollen — in her abdomen and her legs. I feel like this time the doctors are not treating her properly, as if they have just left her! But if the whole world abandons her, the Lord will take care of her! The One who raised people from the dead — it is not difficult for Him to heal her, improve her condition, and glorify Himself before the doctors! Please pray for her. Her condition is very serious.
